Jenkinson Lake

We spent a day with everyone at Jenkinson Lake in Sly Park near Tahoe. We had wanted to camp the night before, but it just didn't work out. So we left the house around 6am, so we could have breakfast and a full day at the lake. It was pretty chilly in the morning in the shade, but it didn't slow the kids down at all from getting into the water nearly as soon as we got there! Papa took the kids for rides on the ol'e fishing boat, the kids all shared the water toys and inner-tubes, most of us got a little sunburned, and I think we all ate more food than we should have. Food just tastes so darn good when your "camping"! It was so great to just visit for the whole day with my cool family...nothing to disrupt us!
